Create a beautiful stained glass suncatcher in this beginner-friendly class. Each participant will create a single-strand stained glass suncatcher — perfect for adding a touch of light and color to any window or space. In this class, we will creatively use a selection of reclaimed and scrap glass pieces, giving new life to reusable materials before incorporating them into our mosaic projects. Your completed suncatcher will be ready to hang and catch the light!
During this 1.5-hour immersive class, you’ll be guided through the stained glass process from start to finish, including:
Cutting and shaping glass
Foiling and assembling your chosen design
Soldering for a smooth, polished finish
Proper care and finishing techniques for your completed piece
No prior experience is required — just a love for creativity and a willingness to try something new. All materials and tools are provided, and you’ll leave with a finished stained glass suncatcher ready to display in your home.
This class is perfect for beginners, a creative night out, or anyone interested in learning stained glass while supporting thoughtful, low-waste studio practices.
Age Restrictions: 16+
For safety, all participants must wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and have long hair tied back during class.
All class sales are final. Rescheduling is available with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice prior to the class start time. Refunds are not offered.
