This class is part of the Botanical Glass Series, where nature-inspired forms guide the stained glass process and design choices.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will craft a finished stained glass butterfly or moth while learning the fundamentals of traditional copper foil stained glass techniques in a supportive studio environment. Your finished piece can be designed to stand or hang.
During this 3-hour immersive workshop, you'll:
• Cut and shape glass for your chosen design
• Apply copper foil to prepare pieces for assembly
• Solder your stained glass piece for a clean, finished structure
• Learn proper tool handling and studio safety
• Finish and polish your piece for display
