Capture the warmth and beauty of daybreak in this intermediate stained glass workshop inspired by glowing horizons, rising suns, and the peaceful colors of early morning light.

This workshop is part of the Suncatcher Series, designed for students ready to build on foundational stained glass skills in a more detailed and immersive project.

Inspired by the concept of Golden Dawn, this design focuses on layered color transitions, light movement, and composition techniques that reflect the beauty of sunrise skies.

During this 3.5-hour immersive workshop, you'll:

• Cut and shape glass for a multi-piece composition
• Work with a more detailed pattern layout and assembly
• Apply copper foil to prepare pieces for soldering
• Solder your design for a clean, finished structure
• Learn techniques for finishing, display, and care

Students will have the opportunity to personalize their artwork with their own color palette and sky composition, making each finished piece completely unique.

Experience Level

This is an intermediate-level workshop. Participants should feel comfortable with:

• Basic glass cutting
• Grinding
• Foiling
• Soldering

Prior stained glass experience is strongly recommended for pacing and completion success, as this design includes a higher piece count and more detailed assembly work.
